Prednisolone acetate injection is mainly used for allergic and autoimmune inflammatory diseases. It is widely used in active rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus erythematosus, severe bronchial asthma, nephrotic syndrome, thrombocytopenic purpura, granulocytopenia, various adrenal cortical insufficiency, severe dermatitis, acute leukemia, etc., and is also used in the comprehensive treatment of some infections.

Adverse reactions mostly occur in the application of pharmacological doses and are related to the course of treatment and dosage. Long-term use can cause iatrogenic Cushing syndrome features, weight gain, poor wound healing, acne, and osteoporosis. Some patients may present psychiatric symptoms or concurrent infections (fungi, tuberculosis bacteria).
